Louisiana Remote Sensing & GIS Workshop will return in Spring 2024!!!

Call for Papers Deadline Extended to Friday, March 1

Agenda Coming Soon

The LA RSGIS Workshop Committee is looking forward to seeing you in 2024 at the Castine Center in beautiful Pelican Park in Mandeville, LA.

Over the past five years, our community has lived through a global pandemic, hurricanes, a drought, and no presentation of the Louisiana Remote Sensing and GIS (LARSGIS) Workshop! Throughout this time, the LARSGIS Workshop Committee has quietly been reorganizing and we are happy to announce the 36th Annual LARSGIS Workshop will be held April 9-11, 2024 in Mandeville, LA.

Please begin making your plans to participate in and attend this year’s Workshop!

The workshop will include an opening keynote speaker, two days of educational presentations and panel discussions, a student poster contest, a vendor exhibit area, and the award ceremony for the Distinguished Service Award for the Advancement of Spatial Analysis in Louisiana and the Louisiana Special Achievement Award in Remote Sensing and GIS.

Plus, you will have the opportunity to meet and network with members from the Louisiana geospatial community and surrounding regions.

Please plan to attend this Workshop, gain knowledge of Louisiana remote sensing and GIS endeavors, and earn credit towards your GIS Professional (GISP) certification.
